U.S. Congressional Delegation Hails Democratic Progress and Human Rights in Bahrain
Al-Ayam February 18, 2009: U.S. Congressional Delegation hailed democratic progress and human rights in Bahrain. The delegation, which is on a tour in the region, said that Bahrain is a pioneer in the region in terms of public freedoms and rights especially women's rights and freedoms because the leadership recognizes their important role in the society. The delegation said that bilateral relations are solid and strong expressing their pleasure with the level of cooperation between the two countries including military coordination.
