Reception hosted in Honor of Bahrain TIP Heroine
The US Embassy Charge' d'Affaires and Mrs. Christopher Henzel hosted a reception in honor of Ms. Marietta Dias of the Migrant Workers Protection Society on Thursday, June 12, at their residence in Jannusan. The distinguished efforts of Ms. Dias in combating trafficking in persons (TIP) were recognized by US Government as she was named one of 12 heroes around the World this year in combating TIP. At the reception were government officials, businessmen, journalists, civil rights activists and NGO representatives.
