2008 Bahraini Fulbright Grantees Departing Soon
The U.S Embassy's Public Affairs Office held a pre-departure orientation on Monday, July 7th for the five Bahraini students accepted into the 2008 Fulbright Program. They will participate in a two-year graduate program at universities throughout the U.S. including; the University of North Carolina, Texas Christian University, Case Western University, Edinboro University, and Duquesne University. The Fulbright program is a U.S. government-sponsored cultural exchange program that seeks to increase mutual understanding throughout the world.
