Ambassador Presents Certificates to Pre-school Teachers
American Ambassador Adam Ereli presented certificates to fifteen pre-school teachers in recognition of their completion of a two-week intensive training program on the best practices and methods of teaching reading, writing and mathematics in English. Ambassador Ereli said "The American Embassy is pleased to cooperate with the Ministry of Education on this program to prepare the teachers of the youngest students in current methods of English language learning."
The training program, which was organized by the Pre-school Directorate at the Ministry of Education in cooperation with the American Embassy, was conducted by Dr. Caroline Linse, an American expert and consultant on early learning. Dr. Linse said that the target of this training was to continue work begun in 2007 with a focus on practical implementation of Cooperative Teaching Strategies.
