Ambassador William T. Monroe participated in a beach clean-up on Saturday April 21st to celebrate Earth Day, which is marked Worldwide today, April 22. The clean-up was organized by GOLBE students at the Ministry of Education in cooperation with the US Embassy. More than two hundred students joined by Undersecretary for Educational Affairs and Curriculum Dr. Ebrahim Janahi and a number of Ministry of Education officials helped in cleaning up the Budaiya beach.
