Borrowing From the English Language Office
The books are available for borrowing from the Regional English Language Office. Read the rules carefully.
1. Each book can be borrowed for two weeks, if the borrower is a resident of Bahrain and for a month for the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Oman and Kuwait’s residents.
2. A borrower who is a resident of Bahrain should leave a deposit of BD 5.000 for each book. Other GCC countries' residents should send an equivalent of BD 10.000 in cash by mail, upon the receipt of which the book along with a receipt will be sent by mail. Those who live outside Bahrain should send the mailing information either by mail with the deposit, or e-mail it to hashemf@state.gov.
3. Two books can be borrowed at a time.
4. Each book is renewable for another two weeks, a month for those outside Bahrain. Books can be renewed by sending an e-mail to the following address hashemf@state.gov.
5. The Regional English Language Office reserve the right to charge per day a fine of 300 files or its equivalent, which would be deducted from the deposit, for every overdue book unless renewed within the specified time frame.
